Tory Fitzgerald has been a Wall Residences provider since 2012. He has approximately fifteen years of experience supporting individuals with feeding tubes, complex health needs, use of adaptive equipment, specialized dietary needs, as well as individuals with behavioral and mental health needs. Tory has a calm and relaxed demeanor and enjoys sports, exercising, board games, and outdoor activities.
He enjoys supporting individuals to reach their full potential and enhance their relationships with others. Individuals are encouraged to participate in day support programs, employment opportunities, and are offered support for community engagement to broaden their interests and social network. His home offers person-centered, around the clock care in a triplex home setting. There are two apartments located on the second floor and a third unit located on the main level, reserved for supported individuals and the provider. The residence has three bedrooms and one bathroom. Currently, there are no individuals residing in the home but there is space for two.
The Fitzgerald Home is located in a country setting just off Old Richmond Road in the Dan River Community of Pittsylvania County. The home offers individuals their own bedroom for privacy along with a spacious common area for activities and enjoyment. Additional amenities include a screened-in patio and a large back yard for privacy. There is plenty of space to participate in activities and games of choice. Transportation is provided for appointments, visiting friends and family, as well as transportation for when participating in community-based activities.
