Sarah has been a Direct Support Professional in residential services for over a decade.  She is a CNA and has worked with medically fragile individuals as well as individuals who have needed support with mental health and behavioral support needs. Her husband Ricky works outside the home as a construction superintendent and plans to be very involved as a co-provider.

The couple is very family oriented and enjoy spending their time with their extended family. They enjoy going to church, out to eat, attending sporting events, going to the movie theatre, and traveling for vacations. Sarah has a very nurturing spirit and describes herself as caring and compassionate. She has devoted her career to caring for individuals.

Sarah and Ricky want to provide a life where individuals can live their best lives at home and in the community. Their home is shared with their four children and would like to offer individuals into their family setting. They want the individual to feel like a part of their family while also helping them to reach their own life goals.

The home in Amherst is a split-level home in a beautiful country setting. The home has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house features a spacious living area with an open kitchen and dining area. The home also has a large deck for enjoyment.
