This residential and person-first care model gives providers and the individuals they serve the absolute best quality of life possible. You are able to pursue a healthy work-life balance while providing infinite opportunities for adults with disabilities.

Caring for individuals from your home gives them a safe and healthy environment to become more independent and confident. Your support is supplemented by backup workers, RN staff, and counselors.

Each provider works as an independent contractor with comfortable pay based on experience and work load. Your training is offered by Wall Residences and our team handles the placement of individuals in your home for you.

Understanding Overnight and At-Home Caregiving

As a Residential Care Provider, you will be tasked with providing companionship and support for adults with disabilities.

One to two individuals will be matched with you and live in your home full-time. These matches are carefully made to ensure the best fit for everyone involved. This sees to it that you are always working with people whose needs match your skill set.

Many providers and residents build family-like relationships with strong bonds that last for years.

As a live-in caregiver your typical duties can include:

  • Helping individuals with non-medical care
  • Providing supervision and safety measures
  • Preparing meals or assisting with meals
  • Visiting public places and exploring Arlington
  • Participating in community activities and volunteer work
  • Documenting your resident’s progress
  • Booking medical appointments
  • Providing transportation
