Applied Behavioral Analysis for Individuals Up to Age 21

Wall Residences offers an Intensive ABA Program through our new division Wall Therapeutic Solutions. This program is designed to meet the unique needs of children and youth up to age 21 and their families, supporting everyone to overcome obstacles and create foundations for future success. Individualized services can be delivered at the ABA Center in Salem or in the child’s home.

Wall Therapeutic Solutions is committed to providing resources and training to families and professionals throughout the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. In addition to our center-based ABA therapy services, we offer the following:

 

  • Educational consultation for families and professionals
  • Home-based ABA programs
  • Training and workshops
  • Consultation to school systems and other agencies
  • On-site supervision and program training for public schools
  • Clinical supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians and Board Certified Behavioral Analysts

Taking Referrals to Fill ABA Center Openings

Our team is familiar with families’ struggles to find the best therapies and care for children with autism or other disabilities. Wall Therapeutic Solutions is dedicated to making services available for as many children and young adults as possible.

The experienced and certified staff at our Salem, VA ABA Clinic are accepting referrals to help serve more children in the Roanoke area. Many other clinics have waitlists out as far as a year.

You can ensure your children receive the support they need right away by coordinating with our Salem clinic. If you are worried about traveling to the clinic each week, then our team can provide in-home ABA therapy anywhere near Salem, Roanoke, the New River Valley and far Southwest Virginia.

Wall Therapeutic Solutions believes that ABA services are most impactful in-person, but our team can provide telehealth on a case-by-case basis.

Do you offer Speech and Language Pathology?

Our clinic in Salem is capable of providing your child with speech and language pathology services including assessments and direct therapy.

Before our center opened, the closest location for Assistive Technology Assessments was in Charlottesville. You can save travel time by visiting our local speech and language pathologist for your child’s assessments.

Who Can Receive Intensive ABA?
  • Children and young adults age 0-22 with a diagnosis of autism or other developmental disability, and/or a recommendation from a medical professional.*
  • Wall Residences accepts most private insurance plans and MCOs.
    • Some patients use a combination of private insurance and Medicaid
    • If not covered by your insurance, ABA is available with out-of-pocket pay

How Do You Know if ABA is the Right Fit?

ABA therapy is often recommended to families by their child’s pediatrician. When a child receives an autism diagnosis, their doctor will inform them of services such as ABA to help with behavior and development.

Our modern ABA Center in Salem, VA serves children and youth from 2-22. Families in the Roanoke, Salem and Montgomery County areas are able to easily access our clinic.

Facilities include multiple treatment rooms, a group therapy space, sensory room, and an observation suite with two-way window/mirror. Carefully designed to be both a soothing and welcoming environment for children and youth as they work with our highly skilled Behavior Analysts and Technicians to gain the skills that improve their lives.
