Caregiver Jobs in Harrisonburg, VA: Provide Home-Based Support to Adults with Disabilities

Working In-Home as an Aide for Individuals with Heightened Needs

For many adults with disabilities, a caregiver coming to their home for certain periods of the day is not sufficient support. They may not be able to comfortably manage or support their own household. Alternatively, they can choose to receive residential care provided by trained professionals.

As a Residential Care Provider, you would work from home helping 1-2 adults with disabilities to live a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. You will work as an independent contractor to help them with the essentials such as meals and hygiene as well as building confidence and finding opportunities to engage in the community.

Each individual would live with you full-time, but your workload would be aided by other part-time caregivers, we call backup workers. This gives you the flexibility you need to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Wall Residences is the pioneering company for the family care provider model in Virginia. For 25 years we’ve seen caregivers and adults with disabilities build long lasting relationships and healthy environments. Are you ready to give back to the Harrisonburg, VA community and find employment that’s meaningful?
