The Dowdy’s have resided in the Sugar Mill Subdivision of Amherst County for over eleven years. The neighborhood is quiet and offers a community pool and areas for walking. It is located within twenty minutes of restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, movie theaters, bowling and sporting events. The home is spacious and includes 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 half baths, family room, kitchen w/dining area, front porch and a large back deck with rocking chairs to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Angela’s Mom currently resides with them along with their two fur babies, Mako (cat) and Levi (shih-tzu). They have four grown children and three grandchildren who live nearby and visit them often.

The Dowdy’s currently have an available vacancy for one individual. He or She will have their own private bedroom with two large closets and a shared bathroom. Both rooms are located on the second floor which will require steps to get to.

The Dowdy’s are very active and enjoy dining out, shopping, attending local festivals, concerts and sporting events, as well as traveling (especially trips to the beach and Tennessee). They enjoy gatherings with family and friends to celebrate holidays, birthdays, or to cookout.
