Benedicta Adjei came to Wall Residences wanting to transition from a CNA working as a Home Help Aide for individuals with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities. Based on her experience working at a group home, Benedicta decided she wanted to provide more person-centered care. She has significant experience working with those diagnosed with Autism, serious medical support needs, and those in need of memory care. Through her experience as a Home Help Aide, she learned the skills to help manage difficult behaviors, understanding non-verbal communication and those with co-occurring diagnosis. Benedicta believes that all people of any age are unique and deserve to have a safe and nurturing environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is their desire to create that place where an individual can live peacefully and reach their full potential.

She enjoys spending time at home and is involved in her community. When at home she enjoys cleaning, arts & crafts projects; especially beadwork and making jewelry, and spending time with her husband Augusine. In the community, Benedicta enjoys shopping and dining out. Her home is shared with her husband and the couple does not currently have any children although they would welcome a child if blessed with one. There are no pets in the home. The couple are originally from Ghana. Benedicta and her husband expressed that she would make a great provider because of her sense of humor, humbleness, smile, and caring nature. She has a spirit that people she works with quickly fall in love with.

Benedicta and Augusine have a four bedroom, three and a half bathroom home a with an open-air floor plan located in New Post Community. The kitchen/dining area is open and boasts a large side by side refrigerator with freezer. There is also a large pantry as well as a second stocked pantry. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the laundry area. The home has a built-in dedicated office space with cabinets with locks that can be used to store medications and service records. There are multiple fire extinguishers throughout the home as well as carbon monoxide detectors as appropriate. The home also features a large retreat and relaxation room. The main level offers a half bath. The stairs leading up have a built-in safety rail to prevent someone from being able to fall over. There are four bedrooms upstairs and all have walk-in closets. One bedroom contains a full private bath. There is also a full bath off the upstairs hallway. All bathrooms offer grab bars. The home has an unfinished basement. There are several hand sanitizing stations built into the walls throughout the home.
