Chasity has worked as a Direct Support Professionals for six years. She has experience as a nurse for those at an assisted living facility and at Catawba Hospital as a mental health nurse prior to becoming a DSP. Chasity currently supports one female individual whom she acknowledges her preferences and encourages participation in community engagement as much as she desires.

She enjoys being active in her community, shopping, and dining out. She also enjoys attending events and hosting gatherings with family and friends. Chasity is close to her family who live locally and serve as a support system. Chasity’s adult daughter plans to become a back-up worker for the service. The current individual Chasity supports is excited to welcome a second house mate and friend into her home.

Chasity reports she has a passion for taking care of people and described herself as empathetic and patient. She has experience providing both mental and physical health support. She is an experienced provider looking to offer support to an additional person and encourage them to access their community and live a fulfilled life.

Chasity’s home is split-level with four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a walk-in shower. The home has a sunroom and a large, level yard. It is located within a nice neighborhood, centrally located to the amenities Roanoke offers and minutes from the local hospital and emergency services. The home has a heat pump and central air conditioning, and the laundry room is easily accessible. It is also equipped with chair lifts on the stairs. The home has two comfortable living rooms with one including a fireplace.
