Ivan and Selena Banks live in a wonderful home in Chesterfield County. Their lovely home has four bedrooms, two full baths and a half bath. The home is nestled on a large lot in a super quiet neighborhood. It has a large three tier patio for entertaining and those quiet lazy afternoons for relaxing. This home also has a big rec room they call the “Steelers room,” decked out in Pittsburgh Steeler memorabilia!

Ivan and Selena were foster parents for over 9 years and wished to move to another stage in their lives while still sharing their home and heart with those in need. They are well experienced and equipped in caring for and mentoring individuals with developmental disabilities. They currently support one individual who has a great personality and enjoys some of the same activities that the Banks do. They have space for two more individuals that may love participating in Special Olympics; Day Support and or work like their current individual.

They say their faith gives them the love and understanding to care for deserving individuals that need it. Ivan and Selena’s entire household enjoy road trips, cruises, shopping, planned events, and doing things with their church helping the community. They also love going bowling, to the movies, and having family game nights with their grown children and grandchildren. Ivan loves to cook and Selena is the baker in the home.

Both Ivan and Selena have a lot of patience and love to share and work as a team and will work together to provide this. The Banks’ home is fully licensed with a qualified, experienced provider and back-up worker. They look forward to having two individuals as an honored addition to their family.
