Jimmy and Nancy Ayers live in a rural area of Monroe in a three level, four bedroom, three bath home. Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside are a feature of the property, which is rural yet only a short drive to community activities. Main level living for someone who may not be able to navigate a full flight of stairs is possible in this home. Both available bedrooms are on the main level of the home with a bathroom conveniently located right next to the rooms. There is a beautiful outdoor patio area and rocking chair front porch to enjoy the scenic views.
Jimmy is the retired Amherst County Sherriff and Nancy is a Registered Nurse, who has served in a number of nursing capacities and supervisory roles for several decades. Both come with many years of experience that has prepared them well for the role of provider. Jimmy has also served as the supervisor of the Amherst County Board of Supervisors and has served in other supervisory capacities.
Well known in the Monroe and Amherst area, they are actively involved in their community. They enjoy eating out, shopping, and taking day trips, with Lynchburg and Lexington being two frequent destinations. The Ayers are very family orientated and enjoy visiting with family from outside of the home on a regular basis. Several friendly dogs reside with them. One of their adult children is an EMT/paramedic. He and his spouse, a physical therapist, reside next door to Jimmy and Nancy.
Jimmy and Nancy have spent their careers devoting themselves to others. They are well connected to other Wall Residences providers and have a gentle, caring nature about them. They are easy to talk with and make anyone entering their home feel immediately welcomed.
