Orfilia has over twenty years of experience working with children and adults with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral disabilities. She has supported individuals who required the use of G-Tubes and J-tubes, ventilators, tracheostomy, hoyer lifts, and oxygen. Orfilia and Federico moved to Virginia from New Mexico a few years ago. While in New Mexico, they were a Sponsored Residential Provider for children and adults. She also has experience as a foster care parent and adopted five children who were medically fragile over the years.

The couple enjoys traveling, sightseeing, fishing, gardening, completing home renovations, visiting farmer’s markets, and cooking. They live in their home with their eleven-year-old son. Additionally, they have two dogs that are a mix of a shih tzu and a husky in the home. Federico and Orfilia are looking forward to offering support, love, compassion, and the opportunity for someone to live their life the way they want to.

The couple’s home has a main living area and an attached two-bedroom apartment. The apartment has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, dining area, and kitchen. The main home has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a living room, dining room, and kitchen. The home is on 3-acres of land with access to the water.
