Phyllis Thompson resides in a one level, three-bedroom, handicap accessible home in Madison Heights. Phyllis’s home is approximately 10 minutes from Lynchburg, and fire and rescue services are approximately five minutes from her home. Phyllis has over 15 years’ experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs, and for the past three years, she has provided backup support to individuals with behavioral support needs through Wall Residences. Phyllis is a single provider and has certified backup workers ready to provide additional supports when needed.
She is eager to provide individualized services to two individuals, including supports with all daily living skills, ambulation, domestic skills, meal preparation, hygiene care, personal finance, communication, community involvement, and transportation to all daily activities.
Phyllis enjoys going to local events, taking vacations with the individuals in her service, and going on day trips. The individuals will have opportunities to go on outings such as festivals, concerts, bowling, eating out, going to the movies, shopping, sporting events, and attending dances. Phyllis also has a large yard and back deck for hosting cookouts with family and friends. She is excited to provide individualized support in a loving and nurturing home.
