Rosita and her son Howard (who goes by Rocky) are Co-Providers in their home located in Alexandria, VA. They have been providers for over decade. Rosita and Rocky are currently supporting one individual who has lived with them for over five years and are excited to expand their household to include another individual.

This home is full of life and excitement as the Providers love to host parties. They enjoy celebrating the holidays, particularly Halloween, Christmas, New Years, and the Fourth of July. Rosita and the family also love to do things spur of the moment. Hosting family and friends for game nights and dinners is a regular occurrence, sometimes on a weekly basis. Rosita and Rocky encourage individuals in their home to make friends and have relationships with members of the community.

Rosita is a licensed chef, who enjoys cooking and preparing meals. Both Providers are very active in their church and the local community, including serving as Special Olympics coaches for basketball and track & field.

Rosita and Rocky are knowledgeable in crisis management, supporting those with serious medical issues such as diabetes, and positive behavior supports. Rosita is an excellent advocate for individuals with disabilities.

This home is a good option for someone who likes children, is not afraid of dogs, enjoys going on vacations, and just loves to live life. It is important to the Providers to give the individuals in their home a meaning life with memorable experiences.
