Sheila and Fred Butler reside in a quiet neighborhood in Harcum, Gloucester, Virginia. The house is a ten-minute drive from Gloucester Courthouse which offers opportunities for shopping and recreation including movies and bowling. Sheila and Fred live with their three dogs and two miniature goats. They have family in Virginia and New Jersey; they have four adult children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Fred is retired after serving in the Coast Guard for 27 years and Sheila is a community volunteer. She has been employed as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) working with senior citizens in a nursing home, worked private duty in people’s homes, at a hospital for adolescents, at a juvenile detention home, and as a back-up worker for Wall Residences providers for approximately 10 years. Sheila is warm, kind, patient, and treats everyone with dignity and respect. These qualities enable her to care for people with different abilities and from different backgrounds.
The Butlers enjoy family gatherings on holidays, taking short vacations, exploring Virginia’s history, going to the movies, and bowling. At home, Sheila and Fred enjoy cooking, baking and when the weather is nice, grilling out in the backyard. If they aren’t relaxing inside, you will find them on the porch swing or rocking chairs on the front porch.
Sheila and Fred look forward to meeting you. They offer a private, furnished room, including a television, located on the lower level of the home. The person choosing this home will need to be able to navigate the four stairs at the porch. There is a second recreation area on the second level of the home where you can express your creative side (all activities portable).
