Sheila Wagner has been a provider with Wall Residences for over 25 years. She has a BS degree in Education and taught inclusion in Special Education for a decade. Her husband, Steve, retired from Liberty University as a project manager and has a degree in law enforcement. He is now a provider in the home as well. The Wagners live on a small private farm where they have ponies and goats that the individuals in the home feed and pet safely if they desire. The individuals who reside in the home are involved in a Community Engagement services which extends to a variety of community activities to be involved in such as attending dance parties, weekly visits to the library where they participate in craft activities, shopping, dining out, attending movies, and attending church if they choose to. There are also a variety of other community activities offered.
The Wagners and their staff provide a loving and safe home where each person is provided individual decision making with their meals of choice, their involvement in the community and in their home. Each person is accepted, loved and treated with dignity and respect. The Wagners look forward to supporting a new person in their home where everyone is committed to helping them to feel comfortable and content.
The Wagners currently have an opening for one female where a private bedroom will be provided. The home has three bathrooms on the lower level. The lower level provides handicap access. There is a full kitchen, den area, and music leisure activity room. The home provides several outdoor sitting areas that offer views of the sunset and the fenced in animals with comfortable places to relax.
