Sandra Galloway resides in a one level, three bedroom home approximately twelve minutes from Lynchburg and ten minutes from historic Appomattox. Emergency services are approximately five to ten minutes from the home. It is equipped with a handicapped accessible ramp for easy access to the home. There is also a large yard and a wonderful back deck where Sandra enjoys watching the sun rise and other outdoor activities including cookouts with family and friends.
Sandra has worked for five years as a backup worker through Wall Residences and one and a half years as a direct support professional at the Central Virginia Training Center. Her service offers many activities such as attending church, eating out, going to the movies, and shopping. She is also an active member of the American Legion where family and friends meet to picnic, swim, and fish. Sandra also enjoys Challenged Sports Exchange activities including eating out, shopping, and attending festivals.
Sandra is able to provide support during the day for individualized services including supports with domestic skills, opportunities for socialization, and community integration. If an individual prefers a formal day support program outside of the residential service, that is available as well.
Sandra would love to share her home with an individual. She has lived in the Lynchburg area for 35 years and has many friends and family who would welcome anyone who shares her home as part of the Galloway family.
