If you are looking for farm living, then welcome to Remuda Valley Ranch. Home of Joe and Susan Lewis. We live on a 42 acre horse farm in Bedford County just 15 minutes from Vinton, VA. Our home is located in a rural setting with lots of peace and quiet. It is a one story ranch with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. There is a large back deck with a hot tub and a large back yard which is great for yard games, like corn hole, horseshoes, and bocce ball. There is a covered front porch with comfortable seating and soothing water fountains just perfect for relaxing. The front yard is a woodland setting full of wildlife feeders. There are rock lined pathways that lead to a shady hammock and a sandy fire pit areas, great for roasting marshmallows.
Joe and Susan have 3 dogs and 1 foster dog right now, all extremely friendly and great companions. They have 2 cats and 5 horses also very friendly and sweet. There are lots of wooded trails and wide open pastures that they enjoy walking or riding 4wheelers on. They also have a golf cart for work and fun around the yard and in the garden.
Joe is a corporate pilot and Susan is retired from being a property manager for government subsidized housing and is now a provider. They do not have any children of their own but they do have a close relationship with their family and friends and they enjoy celebrating holidays and milestones with their numerous nieces and nephews. Their hobbies include sailing, gardening, crafts of all kinds, taking care of their rescue horses, trivia, kayaking, tubing and riding 4 wheelers. Joe and Susan enjoy playing yard games, cards & board games, watching movies in the house, in the hot tub or out on the lawn, having bonfires, visiting state parks, going to Smith Mountain Lake, and attending a variety of community events, seminars, and festivals.
We currently have two openings in our home. If you are an animal lover and want to live in the country, we would love for you to come and be a part of their family!
