Venus Sherman – Danville

Venus has been a CNA for 15 years and has worked in a variety of settings since she began her career at age 19. Venus also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Union University. Venus describes herself as a dedicated and enthusiastic team player who is always looking for ways to bring joy to other individuals. Venus has acute care, hospice, and palliative care experience, as well as experience working with individuals with mental health and intellectual disabilities when she was employed as a Group Home Direct Support Professional.

Venus lives in a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home located close to downtown Danville. Her home is in a neighborhood filled with families, and is 1 mile from Sovah Health Hospital, minutes from shopping, community activities, and restaurants located along the riverfront. Venus and her family enjoy vacationing together during Christmas in Tennessee and would welcome any individual in her care for all holidays and family get togethers. Venus enjoys taking walks, dancing, playing basketball, and taking boxing classes, as well as cooking healthy meals.
