Barry Mayo – Danville

Barry Mayo’s spacious upstairs apartment offers private bedrooms and is located in the heart of Danville, with numerous opportunities for anyone looking for an active lifestyle.  Barry is outgoing and is involved in local initiatives and volunteer organizations.  His varied experience includes work as a director of a Boy’s Club, a former Case Manager for Pittsylvania County Community Action, a Public School Teacher, a Probation and Parole Officer, a Recruiter for Danville Community College, and a DSP for individuals with intellectual disabilities and behavioral support needs.  Barry serves as a member of several local committees, through which he has organized job fairs, family reunification workshops, and summer basketball camps.  Barry’s passion is to inspire others to overcome their barriers and to reach their fullest potential.  He has a desire to support young men to be as successful as possible in their personal lives and to become contributing members of their local community.
