Bonnie and Allen Clendenin live in a one-story ranch home that sits on a twelve-acre farm that is centrally located 20 minutes from Appomatox, AltaVista, Lynchburg, and Madison Heights. In the last few years, they added two bedrooms to the home and recently prepared a room that is ready for a new resident to decorate as they wish. The Clendenins have an above ground pool, a horseshoe game and basketball hoop for those who enjoy playing. There is a designated smoking area on the front porch for those who smoke.
The farm currently consists of 3 horses, 2chickens,1 rooster and 10 guineas, a cat named Heather aka Precious, and a Border Collie named Molly. Molly is very loveable and well behaved dog that loves to play ball.
Formal work/day support options are available for those who prefer it. The Clendenins will provide daily activities, regular scheduled recreational/social activities, opportunities to join the YMCA, and one week of summer camp for those who desire it. Weekly trips for groceries and supplies, dining out, affordable movies and bowling, ad various community events will be part of our daily living. The Clendenins have various backup workers (both male and female) to allow individuals to have a change of face and provides and individual with more opportunities at or in the community.
The Clendenins have frequent cookout (grill or fire pit) and enjoy going to the pool, playing horseshoes, and going fishing. They have three adult children and five grandchildren that live close by and come to the farm often for family cookout. Family is very important to the Clendenins and they always have room for more family members.
