Christopher lives in a three-story home in Woodbridge with his wife, Christine, his 16-year-old daughter, Indya, his 14-year-old daughter, Jasmine, and his 44-year-old client, AL. Christopher has been a provider for AL for two years. They also have an older daughter that is away for college. The family enjoys having friends over for cookouts and is involved heavily in their community. They are very involved in their local church, and Christopher teaches a bible lesson every Friday evening. The family also likes to do sports, Special Olympics, go to parks, sightseeing, and visiting with family and friends.
The home is located in a very safe and active neighborhood that is just four miles from shopping, restaurants, and entertainment facilities. Once a year, the neighborhood holds a huge “Back to School” event at the big park. There are blowup bouncing inflatables, lots of food, games, and a DJ to play music. There is also a neighborhood clubhouse with a large pool.
Prior to being a provider, Christopher was a Crisis counselor for REACH for eight years and before that, he was a crisis counselor for Horizons. Christine is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the military and she currently homeschools the two teenage girls. Christopher has the experience and knowledge to support a person to be independent and achieve their goals. Christopher and his family look forward to welcoming another individual into their home to give them the care and support they need to live a structured and happy life.
