Marilyn Sumpter- Stafford

Marilyn Sumpter lives in a spacious, three-level townhouse located in Stafford. Marilyn’s home has three bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and is located just steps away from a gorgeous, safe walking trail, which leads to Smith Lake Park and Recreation. It is also a short walk away from shopping. The individual that chooses Marilyn’s home will have their own bedroom and bathroom to decorate to their liking.

Marilyn has adult twin daughters and one grandson who live in the Stafford area. She worked as a Direct Support Professional at the Northern Virginia Training Center and gained invaluable experience with intellectually disabled adults. Marilyn grew up with her intellectually disabled uncle and she was instrumental in his life as an advocate and caregiver and remains connected with him.  

Marilyn enjoys cooking, dining out, music, outdoor activities, movies and being involved in her community. She prides herself in being able to provide compassionate, understanding and loving care for those in need.  She is excited to open her home to a person that wants to work toward achieving their goals, being involved in community events/activities, and receiving safe and healthy care.
