Tammy Hicks welcomes the opportunity to provide a caring, supportive and nurturing home for an individual. Tammy resides in a four bedroom, three-bath home on five acres in a private subdivision in Madison Heights. The area offers a quiet, peaceful setting, yet is only 10 minutes from medical offices, shopping, and restaurants.
Family and friends are very important to Tammy. She shares her home with her husband, who enjoys outdoor activities. They have a 21-year-old son who lives in Lexington. He is employed full time and is a volunteer firefighter as well as an EMT.
Their family is very supportive and would love to open their home and hearts to assist an individual in achieving their personal best. Tammy’s mother, Sandra is a provider and once shared Tammy’s home along with the individual she serves.
Tammy has been a backup worker for several years and has the hands on experience of sharing her home on a daily basis with an individual requiring support. As a backup worker, Tammy enjoys spending time with those she supports. They enjoy attending community, and church functions as well as dining out, and other social activities. She also assists with their daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, eating, medications, and other services that are needed.
Tammy’s professional experience, along with her caring and compassionate attitude will contribute greatly in providing a healthy, happy home environment. Her home offers a safe, respectful, comfortable environment with a commitment to individual attention and emotional support.
