Our mission and purpose is to provide individuals with support that allows them to lift up their unique gifts and live a happy life filled with purpose and strong relationships in Richmond, VA.
Wall Residences was started 25 years ago as one of the first organizations that provided adults with disabilities the chance to receive care tailored to them in Virginia. Our Richmond services defy institutional care models by giving each individual in our programs the ability to find a living situation that helps thrive in adulthood.
Our care varies from sponsored residential homes, group homes, in-home support to personalized day support, nursing care, and behavioral support. These options make it possible for adults to move into homes with full-time care or receive support while living alone or with family.
Each adult with disabilities has their own health needs and personal goals. Wall Residences works to create unique ways to assist each individual. Our experienced caregivers help support people with a large range of disabilities and/or dual diagnosed mental health conditions including:
- Mild, moderate, severe, or profound cognitive limitation
- Autism
- Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, and other Physical Disabilities
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- Major Depression
