What it Means to Be a Provider
Wall Residences has long been a pioneer of person-centered care and was the very first to receive a license to provide Sponsored Residential services in Virginia. We have grown in the 25 years since to provide this type of quality care to hundreds of individuals across the state. Providers are the center of this model!
Family model Providers support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or a diagnosis of long-term mental illness in a home setting. Providers share their home with the individuals they support, bringing the individual into their family and community circles. Providers assist the individuals in their service as they create and nurture genuine relationships and spend their time in fulfilling ways. Wall Residences Providers are independent contractors whose service includes back up workers they choose, extensive support from our program staff, and access to behavioral, nursing, and other services. We support you every step of the way and connect you with mentors and peers also doing this important work.
This is not just a job… it is a lifestyle of truly making a difference every day! Wall Residences actively recruits new provider families on an ongoing basis. Interested in learning more? We encourage you to attend one of our monthly webinars!
