Jenise is a graduate of Christopher Newport University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and minor in leadership. She has held a variety of positions supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to include day support, direct care, and case management for both children and adults in the Tidewater and Lynchburg areas. Currently she provides residential supervision services and service coordination to providers in the Central Virginia region.

Candace attended the University of Virginia where she received a Bachelor of Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She also holds a graduate certificate in Contemporary Mental Health Counseling Theory from Capella University. She has earned certifications as a QDDP and QMHP-A&C. Candace began working in the field as a DSP in day support and group home programs before becoming an ID/DD Support Coordinator for several years, where she worked with dual diagnosis individuals of all ages. She has a passion for supporting individuals and those who care for them. In her free time, she is an advocate and consultant for individuals and their families in the community. Candace is very happy to be part of the Wall Residences team.

Brian received his Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University. He also earned teacher certification through Lynchburg College and worked 11 years as an elementary school teacher. Prior to joining the team at Wall Residences, he gained experience working with children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Sharlene Wade has a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and certification in Gerontology. Her experience includes serving as Social Services Director in an ICF/MR, Care Coordinator for DMHMRSAS at the time of the roll-out of Waiver Services where she provided training and quality assurance for Community Service Board staff statewide, Case Management Supervisor for Valley CSB, and as a Family Residential Provider for more than 15 years. Sharlene’s background allows for a unique perspective on Waiver services.

Alison is a graduate of Radford University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. She previously worked as Program Coordinator for the CAP/DA Program with the Appalachian District Health Department in Sparta, NC.

Amber has a Bachelor of Science degree and has had over twelve years of experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities and dual diagnosis in a variety of settings. Prior to joining the team at Wall Residences, she worked as a direct support provider and Case Manager at day support and sheltered workshop, and as a Residential Coordinator. Amber and her husband also serve an individual with intellectual disabilities in their home.
