Amy Braswell brings over 20 years of experience in the field of Developmental Services to her position as Quality Assurance Coordinator to Wall Residences. Amy started her career as a paraprofessional in the schools before becoming a direct support professional for a group home operated by a Community Services Board as she worked to graduate from the University of Mary Washington. Following graduation, she was hired as a group home manager for a different CSB where she led a team for 5 years before joining Wall Residences as a Program Manager. Later, she was promoted to Senior Program Manager before joining the Community Resource Consultant team at the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, leading their Provider Team of CRCs throughout the Commonwealth. Amy was happy to return to her Wall family in September 2024 as Quality Assurance Coordinator. Other significant career highlights include serving on the boards of the Arc of Rappahannock and the Arc of Virginia, being a Person Centered Thinking trainer, endorsed through the Learning Community for Person Centered Practices, since 2012, and serving on the Virginia Person Centered Practices Leadership Team for the same amount of time.
