Program Manager - Richmond

Julie Neal, MS, MT-BC

Quality Assurance Coordinator - Western Region

Julie has been a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) since 1994, having received a BS in Music Therapy SUNY Fredonia and an MS in Music Therapy from Radford University. Julie has served on interdisciplinary teams as a Music Therapist in an inpatient psychiatric setting with adults and older adults, a public-school setting with children with a wide range of special needs, and in private practice. She has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels at Radford University and has supervised dozens of Music Therapy students and interns in their clinical practice settings for the past 25 years. Julie has also served on state, regional, and national Music Therapy boards, committees, and task forces. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Human Development from Radford University. She is honored to be a part of the Wall Residences team as a Quality Assurance Coordinator for the Western Region of Virginia.

Justine Paterson, MSW

Group Home Program Coordinator – Central VA

Justine holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in Social Work from California State University Stanislaus. Prior to joining Wall Residences, Justine was a Social Worker at Central Virginia Training Center. She also has experience working in the mental health field and as a substance abuse counselor.

Kara Scott, BS, QIDP

Program Manager - Lynchburg/Central VA

Kara has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Liberty University. She has over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with Intellectual disabilities in both residential and community settings. Prior to working at Wall Residences, Kara worked as a case manager at Central Virginia Community Services Board (now referred to as Horizon Behavioral Health.) Kara is passionate about serving and supporting individuals so that they live their best lives!

Karley Preil

Program Manager - NOVA

Kasey Thornton, MS, CCC-SLP

Speech & Language Pathologist - Roanoke

Kasey is a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) working with individuals with a variety of communication needs. While she was working on her SLP degree, she worked as a behavior therapist with Wall. Prior to becoming a SLP, she received a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and worked as an elementary school teacher. Additionally, she has taken some courses in special education. Kasey is excited about providing therapy to individuals to support them with strategies and improving functional communication skills to help improve their quality of life. When she is not at work she spends time with her husband , daughter, and family.

Katelyn Campbell, BS

Senior Program Manager – Lynchburg/Central VA

Katelyn graduated from Ferrum College in the spring of 2012 with a major in Recreation Leadership, a minor in Outdoor Recreation and a minor in Criminal Justice. Immediately after graduation, she began working with at-risk youth as an Activity Aide at Old Dominion Job Corps in Monroe, VA. She also has experience as a Recreation Director at Central Virginia Training Center. Katelyn has worked with all individuals at CVTC in a recreational setting for five years until becoming a Program Manager for Wall Residences in 2017. She now serves as a Senior Program Manager for Central VA.

Katherine “Katie” Ramsey

Controller

Assists Chief Financial Officer with financial and operational activities. Provides the company with financial reporting and analysis as needed. Assists the Chief Financial Officer with management of Payroll, Human Resources, Accounts Payable, Billing, the company’s credit cards, and vehicles.

Katherine “Katy” Tyler

RN Care Manager - Eastern Region

Katy has twelve years of experience in nursing where she has worked in several different fields including medical surgical, rehabilitation, psychiatric, pediatric, nursing management and home health before coming to Wall. Katy graduated from Central Methodist University in Missouri with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Patient care has always been the reason Katy chose nursing and the most importance aspect of nursing for her. Katy enjoys training staff so that they are prepared to provide the best patient care available. Katy is also readily available to provide medical support to program manager staff and advise on any medical issues that may arise.
