Meggan received a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University where she studied Interdisciplinary Studies and Sustainable Development. She has spent the last 15 years working with children and adults in child welfare, foster care, and adoptions. Meggan has been very fortunate to have extensive experience within the health care system, school districts, legal, and social services communities in the cities of Lynchburg and Danville and the surrounding counties.

Melissa Worrell received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Radford University and went on to earn her MSW at Radford. Melissa has over 25 years of experience working with people who have been diagnosed with intellectual or mental health-related disabilities. Melissa is a person-centered social worker who enjoys working as part of a team to support individuals to have lives which reflect their interests and are meaningful.

Melody has a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Ferrum College. She has 7 years of experience supporting children and adolescents in school settings for intensive behavioral treatment, and over 7 years of experience supporting adults with mental health, intellectual/development disabilities, and dual diagnoses. She will be supporting services in the Central Virginia area. Melody has a true passion to support and advocate for all people to live full and meaningful lives filled with respect, dignity, choice, love and hopefully lots of laughter along the way.

Michael has a BS in Social Science from Radford University and completed his teaching certification through Mary Baldwin University. He worked as a public school teacher in the elementary and later jail setting for 10 years before becoming a group home provider for Wall Residences for several years. Since that time, he has been a team leader in Treatment Foster Care, Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Mental Health Skill Building.

Monika holds a BA in Political Science from St. Paul’s College and MA in Law with a concentration in Nonprofit Mgt from Regent University School of Law. Monika has over 20 years of experience working with children with special needs, adults with intellectual disabilities, and more recently the senior population. Some of her previous positions include Senior Service Facilitator for Consumer Directed Services, Case Mgr., Residential Instructor, Residential Counselor, Therapeutic Foster Parent, and Private Caregiver. Monika is excited to join Wall and continue her mission in life, to help others realize their full potential and to live the best life possible.

Morgan received her Bachelor’s in Health Psychology with a minor in Public Health from Jefferson College of Health Sciences. Prior to becoming a Program Manager, she served as a Case Manager with New River Valley Community Services. Morgan is currently serving as a Regional Coordinator for the New River Valley area.

Nancy holds a BSW from James Madison University, with minors in Sociology and Family Issues. She has 19 years in the DD field in various roles supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, including supervising sponsored residential, in-home and day support services, providing case management for adults and providing direct care in various settings. She is the mother of an adult son with severe physical and intellectual disabilities and because of this she works to ensure that individuals in Wall Residences services receive the care they need/want, are always treated with dignity and respect and are living the best life possible.
