Shalonda Carter

Supported Living/IH Coordinator - Charlottesville/Harrisonburg Region

Shalonda’s first passion is caring for others. Since she was a young girl, she has always been there to help those around her. During her undergraduate years at Emory & Henry College (now known as Emory & Henry University), where she received a double BA in Psychology and Public Policy & Community service, she was a dedicated ID/DD respite volunteer/coordinator for River’s Way, school buddy, and intern with a local non-profit. Many years later, she received her master’s degree in psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavioral Analysis. Shalonda worked for 10.5 years as an autism and behavioral therapist, including in-home, community-based, and for the public school system. That passion from childhood continues to foster her love of helping others reach their fullest potential.

Shannon Gardner

Day Services Program Manager - Central VA

Shannon graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology: Adult Development. For 12 years she has worked providing direct services to children and adults with mental health and behavioral challenges. Shannon is dedicated to helping others by continuing to empower and educate all individuals with necessary mental health skill building tools to enhance their overall quality of life.

Shanta Pannell

Program Manager - Central VA

Sharlene Wade, BS, QDDP, QMHP-A

Regional Coordinator - Staunton/Waynesboro/Charlottesville

Sharlene Wade has a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and certification in Gerontology. Her experience includes serving as Social Services Director in an ICF/MR, Care Coordinator for DMHMRSAS at the time of the roll-out of Waiver Services where she provided training and quality assurance for Community Service Board staff statewide, Case Management Supervisor for Valley CSB, and as a Family Residential Provider for more than 15 years. Sharlene’s background allows for a unique perspective on Waiver services.

Sheila Walker-Matthews, BA

Program Manager - Danville

Sheila has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and over 25 years of experience working with children and families in human services.  Prior to coming to Wall Residences, Sheila worked with children in a Residential Treatment Center and as a case manager for a not for profit family services organization.

Senior Office Technician - Client Records

Serves as the lead in the Client Files department. Completes audits of client records to ensure compliance with Licensing and Medicaid regulations. Serves as primary contact for all client documentation requests. Communicates with Program Management and QA staff regarding client document processes and changes.

 

Stacy McGarry, BA

Day Services Coordinator - Staunton/Waynesboro/Charlottesville Region

Stacy has a bachelor’s degree from Mary Baldwin University in Psychology.  Stacy has over fourteen years of experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities in both residential and day support settings.

Stephanie Quesinberry, MA, QMHP-A

Program Manager – Southwest Virginia

Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Radford University. She also has a MA in Human Services from Liberty University. Stephanie has over 15 years of experience in case management and counseling children and adults with dual diagnoses and other abilities in a variety of settings. She will be supporting services in the Southwest Virginia area. Stephanie has a heart for helping others. She also loves to spend time with her husband, children, and her adopted Shih Tzu named Finn.
